What to Expect:

1. Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment to read necessary information pertaining to the course of care.
2. The initial visit will consist of a 60-minute interview in a private room to discuss health history and the condition to be treated. In addition, we will examine the tongue and take the pulse to form a Chinese Medical Diagnosis. The first visit is purely diagnostic; no acupuncture treatment will be given during this visit unless there is a very acute situation.
3. Please fill out the Health History Intake Form before coming in and bring a complete list of all the medications you are currently taking.

General Recommendations:

1. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that can be rolled above your knees and elbows.
2. Please don't come on an empty stomach: eat at least 30 minutes before your appointment.
3. Please don’t wear cologne, perfume, etc., because many people are allergic to scents.
4. Please come prepared to rest and enjoy your treatment!
